Dr. Ricci Minella was born and raised in Bridgeville, PA. After graduating from Washington and Jefferson College, he earned his medical degree at George Washington University Medical School in Washington, DC. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA, where he completed a fellowship in cardiology in 1990.
Dr. Minella has since spent his medical career practicing cardiology in the Pittsburgh area. His practice specializes in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear and echocardiogram imaging, transesophageal echo procedures and peripheral vascular procedures.
Dr. Minella is the author and co-author of numerous articles and is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology, and echocardiography.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Minella enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with his wife and four children.
